Set up your first schedule

Set up a repeating shift pattern or a day of client visits.

Start with your own schedule

Install the available RosterEase build through TestFlight and open the app. Choose the worker mode that matches the plan you want to manage. You do not need a RosterEase account.

The beta is evolving. Screen labels and available features can vary by build; include your build number when asking for help.

For shift work

Use Shift Worker for a repeating roster. You can enter it yourself or use Smart Import and review the result.

  1. Add a workplace and check its timezone and location.
  2. Set up shift types, including start and end times. Check overnight shifts carefully.
  3. Build your repeating pattern and confirm the date it starts.
  4. Review the calendar before using Today or enabling Calendar sync. Use a per-day change for an exception to the pattern.

For client visits

Use Field Worker to plan ordered visits. Begin with your client details or import a supported client list.

  1. Add clients, locations, visit durations and any appointment windows.
  2. Review the active clients, work days and visit order in your setup. If your build offers Visit Days for each client, check those too: a visit must fall on both an enabled work day and a selected client day.
  3. Choose a travel buffer. Optional Maps estimates are a separate choice.
  4. Check Today and future route days before relying on the plan. Recheck the schedule after changing client or work-day details.

A quick check before your first day

Compare the plan with your original roster or appointments. Check dates, timezone, shift boundaries, travel and any warnings. RosterEase helps organise your plan; it does not verify it with your employer or clients.

Calendar access, Maps estimates and private-note sharing are optional. You can begin planning without turning them all on.
